HP Spector X360 Convertible

Hi there, this is my third review of a laptop. I will be doing an in-depth guide on what to buy and what to avoid when buying your next computer. This article helps you decide if it's worth spending the money on. If it is you don't have time just go straight to my other reviews.

I have been using HP laptops for quite some time now. They are pretty much all in the same price range and provide plenty of features that allow you to get things done quickly and efficiently. There are plenty of options available, but I find that they fall into one of two categories: budget or premium. Budget laptops usually cost under $100 and do not offer many bells and whistles. These laptops are often equipped with standard features such as a decent display and a good processor. However, they only get you so far, as most budget models lack essential security features or high-performance computing capabilities. In contrast, premium laptops can run more demanding applications at higher settings while also offering better graphics processing and video decoding performance.

The problem with budget laptops is that they tend to come with very limited functionality, which can limit their value in certain situations. For instance, if you need access to software that only works on specific operating systems, budget models may not be able to work. On the other hand, premium laptops offer a wide variety of tools that can help you to customize your user interface, improve overall performance, and boost productivity. The best part about premium laptops is that they tend to be more expensive than budget ones, which means that they can help you to save even more money in the long run.

This leads me down the list to my latest purchase, which was a Lenovo Yoga 7i 16GB. As I mentioned above, these two are very similar in terms of pricing and functions. While they both have full HD displays with thin bezels, the 15.6" DisplayPort touchscreen on the Yoga 7i is much larger with a maximum font size of 50% (which is quite large). To be honest, you won't notice anything really different between them. But that doesn't mean that either does not offer any unique features aside from being significantly cheaper compared to its competitors. The Yoga 7i offers excellent portability, thanks to its 2-in-1 design which allows you to use both a keyboard and mouse at the same time while still having a large screen. It comes with a

powerful AMD Ryzen 5500U CPU
which provides good performance on tasks that you might need to perform intensively. At the same time, it has up to 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage which makes this device incredibly fast in action. You can connect via Bluetooth, USB 3.0, HDMI, or a microSD card slot (which is likely going to become more common in future versions).

As you can see, the main difference between the two laptops is the OS they each support. Though both devices are running Windows 10, the Yoga 7i supports a 64-bit version of the OS, whereas the Yoga 7i only runs 32-bit. Both laptops have great built-in apps that allow you to configure your system in various ways but I am mostly using Chrome OS on my Yoga 7i. All in all, the differences between the two laptops are minimal and you won't notice any major differences between them. My advice would be to go with whichever laptop you feel comfortable with.

In conclusion, the decision on whether to go with a budget gaming laptop or a premium gaming laptop depends largely on your personal preferences.
